The Anticucho is a type of skewer of Peruvian origin, which during pre-Columbian times was prepared with pieces of llama meat and seasoned with aromatic herbs and chili. Currently, in Perú, this dish is characterized by the use of the heart of beef, and its consumption is accentuated during the month of October as part of the gastronomic traditions of the festivities of the Lord of Miracles.
